MAKING A WILL IN FAVOUR OF THE CLA CHARITABLE TRUST

CLA members are well aware of the joys of the countryside. It is easy to take them for granted when living there and able-bodied. It is not always realised that disabled people can have the same enjoyment or take part in the same sports and recreation when special arrangements are made for them.

• The CLA Charitable Trust gives grants towards the provision of suitable facilities to enable handicapped people to take part in activities such as sailing, fishing, woodland walks, riding and carriage driving.

• The CLA Charitable Trust supports horticultural and agricultural training for disabled and mentally handicapped people.

• The CLA Charitable Trust promotes education in the countryside for disadvantaged and city children and young people.

Every £1 you leave The Trust will go directy towards grants to those less fortunate.

There is no better way of helping others less fortunate to enjoy the countryside than by making provision for them in your Will. A legacy to the CLA Charitable Trust will mean so much to the small projects which apply to us for help. The Trust is largely funded by donations from landowners but your legacy would make sure that the Trust could promote so much more pleasure. We welcome all donations, however small.

Please speak to your solicitor when you next amend or up-date your Will. There are two main forms of legacy: Pecuniary, when you give a specific cash sum which you state in your Will and Residuary, when you give the residue or a share of your estate after all other bequests, taxes and expenses are paid.

Use your WILL to remember the CLA Charitable Trust.

THANK YOU.
